Clayton secures seeding for Euro Tour 7&8, Henderson also amongst seeds

Jonny Clayton through his triumph in Graz will not have to qualify at least for a few future European Tour events. These events will be in Gibraltar and the PDC debut in Denmark later this year.
He will be 9th at the moment for those events which will be a relief for the Pontyberem ace. His fellow finalist on Sunday, Gerwyn Price provisionally moves back into the top 16 with Clayton for the events.
Max Hopp and Kim Huybrechts have dropped out of that top 16 but you have to feel that especially for Hopp he will take the space vacated by Gary Anderson; who will not compete in any Euro Tours this year.
Huybrechts could find his way in if Michael van Gerwen decides to sit out the events with him doing so with Gibraltar last year.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
