Gary Anderson has not had the best time of it in the past year with the Scot having to get surgery on his back.

He spoke about these problems to and admitted he’s not been enjoying it. Anderson added that as soon as he can’t have a joke anymore he will knock it on the head completely. "The last 12 months, I've not been enjoying it," added Anderson. "I've been in a lot of pain and I've been getting narky. I like a good laugh and a carry on but it's not been there.'' "I've been sitting in pain and people cheese me off, it's as simple as that. That's not me, I like to have a good laugh at the darts but it wasn't there. If I still can have a laugh with the lads, I'll be alright, but when that goes, I think it's time to knock it on the head." Meanwhile Anderson suffered another injury as a tennis elbow from last weekend's Pro Tour double-header in Barnsley. "I just want to get back playing, but until I get these elbows sorted out, it's going to be a struggle. Hopefully over the next month or so we can get it sorted out and get back onto it.'' "I might have to go down the hard route and get the injections, which I don't want to do. I like to try and get rid of things myself, but if I've got to get them done, I've got to get them done."
