Anderson “over the moon” after winning Champions League of Darts

Gary Anderson became the third different winner of the Champions League of Darts adding to his other TV triumphs this year and afterwards he said he was over the moon.
Anderson said that despite him struggling in parts he got there in the end and it caps off a good weekend for him.
"I'm over the moon to win, it was a hard weekend and I struggled at times but came good in the end," said Anderson, who has also won the UK Open, World Matchplay and US Darts Masters in 2018.
"I just turn up and play my game but it's going alright so far this year. It's been a good weekend."

If it is going to be done to English players, then we are more than entitled to dish the same back when players face off in England. - I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
