Rob Cross represented his country for the first time last night at the World Cup of Darts picking up a win with Dave Chisnall over Czech Republic in a good debut win for the pair.

This wasn’t without nerves with the team going 4-1 up only to be pegged back to 4-3 but Cross and Chisnall held their nerve in the end to win and set up a match with Singapore in the Last 16. ’Voltage’ spoke about his World Cup of Darts debut and admitted he was a bit nervous but for him it was great to represent his country for the first time. “I was a bit nervous but it's great to represent my country,” said Cross. “It's weird, I've never played pairs before but it was a decent start and we'll be better for this now that I've had the experience of the stage and won the game.
