With the World Youth Championship final being confirmed, another World Championship place was as well.

Martin Schindler and Dimitri van den Bergh have already secured their spots at the Alexandra Palace. This has handed ‘Prime Time’ Matthew Edgar a life line and he has now secured his spot.
This would have only have been different though if Ted Evetts, Geert Nentjes or Rowby-John Rodriguez won. In terms of other spots available, if Corey Cadby’s visa issues persist, it will be Andrew Gilding who replaces him.
This could prove crucial to Goldfinger in him keeping his tour card. It will still be likely though that he will play the PDPA Qualifier instead of waiting for the news.
