Cameron Menzies has claimed his maiden PDC title on the Challenge Tour. The former World Masters semi-finalist booked a 5-0 victory over Mark Frost in the final.
'Cammy' beat the likes of Barrie Bates, Mark Walsh and Mick Todd, who all held a
PDC Tour Card in the past, en route to the final. Menzies produced a fine 94 average in his final match and won three legs within fifteen darts.
The
Challenge Tour is available for players who were not able to win a Tour Card at the Q-School. The likes of Ted Evetts, David Pallett, Berry van Peer,
Cameron Menzies, Cody Harris, Jamie Hughes and Krzysztof Ratajski are eligable to play at
these events.
