Gerwyn Price lost yesterday in the final of the Austrian Darts Open 2018 to Jonny Clayton, his potential World Cup of Darts teammate. 'The Iceman' has had a return to form after a disappointing Premier League and will hope to kick on now.
After the loss though he was full of admiration for his opponent admitting he was thrilled for Jonny as he claimed his first Euro Tour. Price sees a lot of positives in the past weekend and is looking forward to the next few weeks.
"I'm thrilled for Jonny, it's brilliant for him," said Price. "Winning's always good but I just wanted to perform well.
"I think this weekend I performed well in patches, not all the way through, but I'll take a lot of positives out of this weekend. I'm looking forward to what the up and coming weeks are going to bring."
