Reyes after claiming comeback victory over Rodriguez: 'It was very difficult but in the end I've managed to go through'

Cristo Reyes claimed a comeback win over Rowby-John Rodriguez and afterwards he said it was difficult but that he is glad to get through after a tough test.
Reyes also said in his interview with Live Darts about his tie vs the World Champion, Rob Cross that he is looking forward to it as you always enjoy playing the best players.
'I'm happy to win my first game, it was very difficult but in the end I've managed to go through.' said Reyes after his win over Rodriguez.
On having to battle down and complete a comeback win, Reyes said that he always believed in himself and knew he could comeback which is what he did.
'I believed in myself and I knew I could comeback and I did.'
He will next face Rob Cross in his second game at the Alexandra Palace and for him he is looking forward to it and facing off against the best players.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
