Waites saw off one of the best players on the
BDO tour this season, Dave Parletti.
It was a 3-1 set win for ‘Scotty 2 Hotty’ whos Timing and Finishing was the main difference in the clash.
Next up was one of the best performances of the day in the form of
Lisa Ashton who averaged 92 in seeing off Corrine Hammond 3-1.
This sets up a clash with Deta Hedman tomorrow on the final day who saw off Mikuru Suzuki today.
It was a 3-0 set win for Wayne Warren who averaged 97 compared to his opponents 101.
Warren produced a brilliant display and could be a real dark horse tomorrow.
Finally Adam Smith-Neale ended proceedings by dumping out Mark McGeeney in a 3-2 sets win.
Smith-Neale came close to securing World Championship qualification so has shown continued form and like Warren could be someone to look out for tomorrow.
