A miraculous comeback from Peter 'Snakebite' Wright has seen him progress to the Grand Slam Final.
Wright trailed his fellow Scotsman from the first leg, and only led as he hit the winning double to secure victory in a last leg shoot-out 16-15.
Anderson was out the blocks quickest, leading 2-0 and 3-1. Wright hit back to trail just 3-2 at the first interval.
It was a similar story after the break too. Anderson could have lead 7-3, maybe even more in the early stages. Wright seemingly punishing every time Gary missed darts at a double. Instead, Snakebite escaped trailing just 6-4.
The third session was where The Flying Scotsman really did his damage. Wright struggled to keep pace with Anderson as he moved through the gears, upping his scoring and becoming more clinical with his finishing. Both held there throws to get the match to 7-6 Gary, but after that Anderson would break to lead 9-6.
Anderson lead by as many as 6 legs further on, 13-7 and 14-8 his margins, leaving him just 2 legs away from a comprehensive victory.
Wright changed his darts during the third interval and that seemed to do the trick, pulling off a remarkable comeback that included taking 5 legs on the spin, and missed darts to level at 14-14. Anderson put himself just 1 away at 15-13 instead but wasn't able to complete the job.
Peter Wright now awaits the winner of Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen in tonight's final.
