Many darts fans will note the three bull challenge which has been taking place in the absence of darts but Michael van Gerwen was one of only a few to have hit all three in a row on TV.
It came in the Melbourne Darts Masters in 2018 and was merely a throw away turn for Van Gerwen with Wright sitting on double 16 while MVG was on 206.
He decided to aim for the bullseye and hit it three times however this didn't displace Wright as Wright immediately hit his match dart at double 16.
From there, 'Snakebite' defeated 'Mighty Mike' 11-7 and then saw off Michael Smith 11-8 in the final winning his second World Series title.
