Toni Alcinas moves into the Second Round of the
World Darts Championship after a 3-1 victory over his fellow countryman,
Cristo Reyes. Alcinas was the outsider of the two going into the match due to Reyes' ranking in the Order of Merit but it is Alcinas that powers through with a 41% checkout percentage against his friend.
Alcinas averaged 85 which was on par with his Spanish compatriot and will play Kevin Munch who famously knocked out Adrian Lewis in Round 1 and so it could be a big run for either player with some real prize money up for grabs and the draw opening up for both players as a result of them knocking out seeds.
