Updated European Tour Order of Merit: Only eight places left for European Championship

The European Tour Order of Merit has been updated after Gerwyn Price’s maiden triumph in Riesa and he is now up to third as a result.
Price could end up second before the cut off in the next event or could end up as low as fifth depending on results. After the latest event, 24 out of the 32 spots in the European Championship are secure.
The likes of William O’Connor, Kyle Anderson and Paul Nicholson are all likely to qualify as part of the 32; but as everyone knows nothing is certain on the European Tour.
Of those who have the best chance of potentially sneaking in include Kim Huybrechts and Krzysztof Ratajski; both have already qualified for the final event.
Names outside of contention include Darius Labanauskas and Ron Meulenkamp, both have shown good form on the European Tour but just miss out due to their failure to qualify for the final event.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
