Van Barneveld part of winning team at Prague Darts Masters defeating van Gerwen in final

Raymond van Barneveld, together with Karel Sedláček, won the pairs tournament at the Prague Darts Masters. In the final they were 3-0 too strong for the duo Michael van Gerwen and David Písek.
In the semi-finals Van Barneveld and Sedláček won 3-1 against Michal Kočík and Simon Whitlock. Van Gerwen and Písek defeated the duo František Humpula and Wayne Mardle.
The exhibition tournament in Prague was visited by about 2500 spectators. The event was seen as a taster for a possible addition of a Euro Tour tournament in the Czech capital in 2019.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
