Van den Bergh tops most money cashed on recent Development Tour weekend

Dimitri van den Bergh cashed the most this past Development Tour weekend in Peterborough lended by the fact he claimed a title.
As a result, Christian Bunse could be seen as the most consistent player of the weekend overall at the Development Tour with £2,600 cashed. This included two finals and two quarter-finals from the German ace.
No one made at least the quarter-finals this weekend barring Bunse who was the first player to do it this year. The top 5 is rounded out by three more of this weekend’s winners in Luke Humphries, George Killington and Jarred Cole.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
