Van der Velde wins JDC World Youth Championship final with win against Cradock

Jurjen Van der Velde is the new JDC World Youth Champion after seeing off Lennon Cradock in the final on Tuesday which took place on the Alexandra Palace stage before the afternoon session took place.

Van der Velde adds to the other titles he has claimed this year including the Winmau World Masters Boys title in Bridlington Spa as well as the WDF European Youth title earlier on in the year. He also was part of the four man Netherlands JDC World Cup squad as well in which he was picked by Michael van Gerwen to form part of the team. Cradock went two-one up in the early going but Van der Velde came back to go 3-2 up when he made it all square and from there he added one more leg to claim the title. This is a title that was won by Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and the year before was Maikel Verberk.
