Peter Wright ended up with a 6-6 draw against Gary Anderson after being 6-3 up against his fellow Scotsman. Both players averaged in the early 100's and put on a show for the Berlin crowd.
Wright is a fixture of the Euro Tours and is one of the most popular players in Germany. He admitted that it is amazing how big it has become.
He also said that he thinks players like Martin Schindler could be there one day.
“It’s amazing to be part of how big darts has become in Germany, I just want to say thank you to all the fans,” said the Scot, who is now on four points.
“To be out there in front of such amazing fans is a privilege and with more events like this we may see some of the German players like Martin Schindler join the Premier League one day.”
