Mensur Suljovic has finally booked his first win in the Premier League Darts. With the support of the German crowd, the Austrian beat Gerwyn Price 7-3.
The winner of the Champions League of Darts in 2017 averaged 106.53 and hit 60% of his attempts at doubles in a match he was in control of throughout. After his match, Suljovic spoke to the PDC.
“The crowd is amazing and I’m so happy to be here with my friends and family,” said the Austrian. “I was nervous for the first week, and nervous for the second but I am playing well and starting to feel better.
“It is good to win and amazing to be in Germany. It was a perfect night.”

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
