Peter Wright despite not having his own set of darts defeated an out of sorts Rob Cross 6-3 to get a place in the Quarter Finals and will face the winner of Ratajski vs Kist tonight.
And it is the Polish Eagle that Wright will face, Ratajski smashed Kist 6-1 with a 104 average, three 12 darters and a top out of 127 and could be the big outside bet for the tournament.
John Henderson is the next man through in that portion of the draw defeating Mike De Decker 6-2 including two ton plus checkouts in a row and will face either
Steve Beaton or Martin Schindler in the Quarter-Finals.
It was Beaton who went through to face Henderson later defeating Germany's Martin Schindler by 6 legs to 4 to end the afternoon session.
