Stunning MVG to face Gurney and Smith to face Owen in QF's

Michael van Gerwen (MVG) continued his rampant return to the Euro Tour smashing through the in form Kyle Anderson 6-1 with a 107.6 average and 75% on the doubles to reach the Quarter-Finals tonight.
Daryl Gurney will face him in the Quarter-Finals after defeating one of the stars of the weekend Nathan Aspinall 6-2. He hit a top checkout of 116 on the way to a win and a continue in good form from Superchin.
Michael Smith is also through after defeating Joe Cullen who was way below par 6-2. The Bully Boy had a 93 average and capitalised on 2/11 from Cullen on the doubles.
Robert Owen continued his brilliant weekend and will face Smith in the Quarter-Finals later in only his 2nd one in his PDC career.
The Bridgend thrower defeated former Dutch Darts Masters champion Simon Whitlock 6-4 with a 91 average to Whitlock's 86 and could be this weekends surprise winner.
