Mitchell Clegg is still the youngest player to have competed in the showpiece event as he was only 16 years and 37 days old when he faced Raymond van Barneveld back in 2006/2007.
Max Hopp joins him at only 16 years and 117 days old when he competed in the 2012/2013 tournament and is still a prominent figure on the tour now.
Michael van Gerwen was previously in Barry's position having been 18 years and 237 days old when he took on Phil Taylor in 2007/2008.
