A big setback for
Raymond van Barneveld has occurred in the run-up to his participation in PDC
Q-School next week which is his comeback to the tour after initial retirement.
A side wall of his house collapsed on Sunday as a result of a snowstorm in the Netherlands. At the time of the collapse, Van Barneveld was not at home. Barney travelled to Germany already, where the
European Q-School starts on Monday with the five-time World Champion in action in Stage 1A.
However, his girlfriend Julia was at home in The Hague, but was not injured. This huge downer has no consequences on his participation in Q-School. Van Barneveld will stay in Germany this week to start his comeback year.
