Dave Chisnall retained his unbeaten streak in the group stage of the Grand Slam of Darts 2019. Chizzy also won his third match, defeating Lisa Ashton 5-1.
Chisnall secured the top spot in his group with this win. The former Grand Slam finalist outscored Ashton, but missed eleven darts on the doubles. Ashton had chances to win more legs, but also missed most of her opportunities. Chizzy made the minest mistakes and booked a 5-1 victory.
Daryl Gurney moved into the knockout stage at the
Grand Slam of Darts after beating Brendan Dolan 5-2. Superchin hit a superb 101 and 161 finish to lead 4-2, before the two-time major winner finished the match with a 52 checkout.
