GRANDPRIX RD1 JONNY CLAYTON6A
Jonny Clayton continued his surge for a maiden ranking TV title at the World Grand Prix by seeing off Krzysztof Ratajski in the Quarter-Finals and he was delighted to move through.
"I'm buzzing to be honest, I'm absolutely over the moon. I thought last night's game was massive but tonight was something else. Krzysztof is fantastic end of, he's proven himself many times and I was thinking I'd lost my chance in the second set when I bust a stupid shot but I got back, I stuck at it and I got over the finishing line,"
"It was like do or die at the end of the day, I just came out I enjoyed myself and it worked for me."
Noppert tie
He will now face Danny Noppert in the semi-finals and he spoke about what was needed to move through.
"Obviously no counting mistakes," he joked. "But fair play to Danny (Noppert) fantastic, he's playing great darts."
While Mark Webster noted about his counting mistakes and he believes he gets embarassed but Clayton doesn't believe that's the case.
"No I'm not embarassed, I just get things in my head. That's my own fault."
