Jose de Sousa is known for hitting the remarkable averages with his brilliant scoring game but he has start off Players Championship 13 with a bang.
De Sousa to begin PDC Super Series 4 Day One has smashed in an incredible 127.0 average in defeating William Borland 6-0 as the seeded players get underway in Milton Keynes.
It is the highest ever average recorded on DartConnect ahead of Jamie Hughes mark of 125.25 during a European Tour Qualifier back in 2018.
Kyle Anderson still holds top spot with 134.84 albeit when it wasn't being recorded electronically but 'The Special One' is seemingly in the mood today. He hit legs of 12, 11, 12, 13, 12 and 11 en route.
