Details of MODUS Icons of Darts League Phase Two revealed

The details have been announced of Phase Two of MODUS Icons of Darts League which is set to begin on Monday with a major change to the format.

Going forward, there will be no more A Night at the Darts with an extended afternoon session taking place instead under the same Icons of Darts League banner.

However, there will be different players playing on each day with them alternating throughout the week.

In the first pool, the likes of David Evans, Martin Adams and Fallon Sherrock will play during the first day. There will also be a return for Paul Nicholson who has had commentary duty as of late.

In the second pool, speaking of commentary Mark Webster will return to the foray. Alongside the likes of Wessel Nijman, Arron Monk and Jason Askew among others.

There will be 21 games a day which will be best of 7 legs, the same six days a week still applies and the players will be playing for a daily league title this time around.

Pool A will take part on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. With Pool B being on the alternate days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).

This means as well a new start time of 10:30am with the last match then beginning at 5:30pm meaning another four weeks of darts from MODUS.

As a result, in the evening session at the current time only the PDC Home Tour will take place for the time being; with the Remote Darts League set to make a return soon.
