At the beginning of the day, Martin Adams who had already played and lost to David Evans in his first match had to drop out after internet troubles in his match with Jarred Cole. As a result, the number of matches dropped to four instead of five.

This meant Evans match against Adams was null and void. Edhouse and Fallon Sherrock from there made sure of an exciting ending to proceedings as they put it down to a winner takes all deciding match.

This was won by Edhouse who has been one of the best players of the latest phase of action and that continues. He won three out of four of his matches defeating not only Sherrock but also David Evans and Andy Jenkins, with his only defeat coming at the hands of Jarred Cole.

There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 9 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.
