Andy Hamilton took to Twitter to share his thoughts after a difficult week, both on and off the oche.

The Hammer, who lost to David Cameron in the BDO World Championship preliminary round, attended PDC Q-School in the hopes of regaining the Tour Card he lost a year ago. It ended in disappointment, with Hamilton falling well short of the points total needed to qualify through the Q-School Order of Merit. A Last 64 defeat to John Davey was as good as it got for the former PDC world finalist. After his Wigan exit, the 51-year-old explained on social media that his woes went beyond darting missteps.
"I’m fed up of keeping quiet, Where do I start?" Hamilton tweeted.
"Last weekend I got engaged to my girlfriend and felt great, Tuesday I had to go to court over the finances in my divorce and come the end of the day I have been forced to sell my house with all profits going to my ex wife..."
He continued: "Thursday-Sunday q-school, not an experience to remember. Where do you turn and what happens when you feel the lowest of the low? Is this where it ends? Do I run away from everything & everyone? I have nothing left..."
Hamilton signed off by saying: "The biggest rollercoaster of emotions in my life ever and I’m sorry to everyone I’m hurting and everyone I’m letting down.
"Not The Hammer, the broken man inside. Andy x"
