Dennie Olde Kalter was successful on the third day of the Final Stage of PDC European Q-School 2025. The 33-year-old Dutchman was a 6-2 winner over Swede Oskar Lukasiak in the final in Kalkar on Day Three, capturing a PDC Tour Card for the first time in his career.

For Olde Kalter, who has been in action at the BDO World Championship and the WDF World Championship in the past, the Tour Card came somewhat as a surprise. "I had two particularly bad days behind me and even thought about returning home, after all, it wasn't going to work out this way. But some friends spoke firmly to me and said it could just turn around," Olde Kalter admits afterwards.
"I knew I had to start very well right away today, after all, my first match was against Jeffrey de Zwaan and that is a rock solid player," the Dutchman continues. "I immediately reached a high level and that gave me so much confidence that I suddenly started playing well. I didn't hesitate all day and I am extremely satisfied that I got my Tour Card."

Quite remarkably, both finalists started the third day with zero points behind their names in the Order of Merit. "It shows again what is possible at Q-School. Things can just turn around when everything falls right at the right time. Today I had such a day and I made the most of it.'
Today the European Q-School continues with the last day of the Final Stage. A PDC Tour Card for the next two years awaits the day's winner once again. For the other players it is also a last chance to work their way up the Order of Merit, as the top twelve of that ranking will also receive a PDC Tour Card.
