Joe Cullen will face Chris Dobey in the first round of 2023 Masters in Milton Keynes this evening as he begins the defence of his title that he sealed 12 months ago.
Defeating Dave Chisnall, it also opened up the Premier League door as he reached the final missing a match dart and he looks back on his first final in MIlton Keynes with fondness.
“It just reaffirms what you have always believed, that you can do it,” admitted Cullen.
“It was my first TV final, so to get over the line at the first time of asking was really pleasing, and it gave me so much confidence.
“I’m expecting a tough game on Friday because Chris is a top player. We spend quite a bit of time together when we’re on tour.
