Commotion at the
World Series of Darts Finals, a tournament played in Amsterdam last weekend. In a second-round match, the crowd showed its worst side.
The incident occurred during a match between Dave Chisnall and Joe Cullen. Chisnall was on a 5-4 lead and then deliberately did not go for a high throw-out, but decided to put himself away on a double. This to the displeasure of the crowd, who started booing Chisnall adamantly.
"This is a sh*t crowd'', said
Martijn Kleermaker, an analyst present at Viaplay as he condemned the behaviour from the Dutch fans. ''This has nothing to do with darts'', he added.
