Luc Peters will join the PDC Tour in full from this season after claiming his Tour Card at PDC European Q-School.
Peters saw off already qualified Mario Vandenbogaerde in the final and discussed his mindset going into the third day.
"I start with zero points two days so I have the feeling this is my only chance so I have to give everything for it and I make it so I'm really happy," said Peters to the PDC.
"Last year I lost on the third day in the final so I wake up and I say to my mate, today it's the third day and this year I'm going to win it."
He played on the tour for most of last season due to making up the numbers at PDC Super Series tournaments and he spoke of his shock of having big names behind him.
"In the beginning it was a little bit strange because I was practicing and I looked behind me - Gary Anderson, Michael Smith everybody was standing behind me. In the beginning was a little bit weird but after a few days, you have to say to yourself you have to play darts. If you want this, don't look to the other guys."
But now the Dutchmen is one of them and he has his sights set on multiple goals.
"I want to be at the World Championship and the Players Championship Finals so that's the target. If you play on the tour, you have to be on the World Championship otherwise it's to hard to getting your Tour Card."
