The Euro Tour season kicks off from February 20 to 22 with the Poland Darts Open in Krakow. The Polish host city has a total prize fund of £230,000 on offer, with £35,000 reserved for the tournament winner.
With this event, Poland hosts a Euro Tour ranking tournament for the first time. In recent years the PDC has already been active in the Polish market with a World Series event, but now takes the next step by giving the country a permanent spot on the Euro Tour calendar.

The field in Krakow is stacked. World Champion Luke Littler will be on the oche, alongside the likes of Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen, Gary Anderson, and Gerwyn Price. That makes this event undoubtedly one of the strongest tournaments of the year.
There is also plenty at stake financially. The winner of the Poland Darts Open pockets £35,000, while the runner-up takes home £15,000. Semi-finalists earn £10,000 and a quarter-final berth is worth £8,000.
Players reaching the third round can add £5,000. A place in the second round is worth £3,500, while those eliminated in the opening round still earn £2,000. That brings the total prize money to £230,000.
A special provision applies to seeded players. If they lose their opening match in the second round, they will receive prize money, but that amount will not count towards the rankings.
This rule does not apply to players who come through qualifying and later move into a seeded position due to a withdrawal. In that case, the prize money earned will be fully included in the Order of Merit.
