The first round is well underway at Players Championship 6 with Gerwyn Price, Adrian Lewis and Chris Dobey among the early names to fall in Barnsley.
Price faced off against Jose Justicia in the opening round but unlike yesterday when he reached the latter stages losing out to Gary Anderson, it won't be another run today as he heads to the European Tour qualifiers tomorrow.
While for Lewis, he lost to Cameron Crabtree averaging just 88 in a 6-4 defeat, Dobey lost on the streaming board to Jermaine Wattimena.
Victories though for yesterday's winner Ross Smith seeing off Simon Whitlock, Stephen Bunting, James Wade, Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney who averaged 107 in taking down Mervyn King.

- It seems odd that at the World Championship they have dancing ladies in hot pants and pom poms and yet the walk on ladies who were much more elegantly attired get removed from the scene. I met Daniella at Silverstone when she was a grid girl in the F1 race and was very pleasant indeed.
