The first round of action at Players Championship Three has begun with the top seeds involved and many are through to the Last 64.
This includes top seed Luke Humphries who eased past Rusty-Jake Rodriguez 6-1 as well as Joe Cullen, Jonny Clayton and the returning Gerwyn Price.
Out at the early stage though include Dimitri van den Bergh, Damon Heta and Dirk van Duijvenbode, with Gary Anderson also falling in a thrilling first round tie to Josh Rock.
It was a 6-4 win for 'Rocky' over 'The Flying Scotsman' averaging 99 in the top first round tie. The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Michael Smith are not involved this weekend having decided to pick and choose their tournaments to begin the season.
