Ross Smith is edging closer to qualifying through Group Six of PDC Home Tour II Group Six despite his first defeat of the day to Ryan Meikle who is still unbeaten.

Smith has three wins and one defeat so far today and led at the early stage but lost 5-3 to Meikle who has played one less game but will go ahead with victory over Luke Woodhouse next up.

Ron Meulenkamp remains third after similar to Smith having three wins and one defeat which means six points for the Dutchman. Luke Woodhouse has claimed his first win of the day so now Vincent van der Meer sits bottom.

The broadcast starts daily at 09:30 am. All matches can be viewed via the streaming service PDC TV. The top three players in each group, along with the five best fourth-placed players, will qualify for the 35-player second phase. The first phase will be played from August 31 till September 28 across then match days.
