James Wade produced a personal best average to top the list of highest averages during Day Three of the PDC
Super Series.
Wade hit 114.15 during his opening tie against Daniel Larsson which he won 6-0 to produce his best ever average.
He was followed swiftly by
Dimitri van den Bergh who begins a slew of players including
Damon Heta (108.96) to hit averages in losing efforts.
Van den Bergh lost 6-5 to Stephen Bunting but averaged 111.9 in the process.
While
Krzysztof Ratajski (108.61) and
Kim Huybrechts (107.10) round out the top five. As usual, the winner in Raymond van Barneveld was just outside with 105.71 against Darius Labanauskas showing it was consistent form instead of high averages that won him through.
