Peter Wright is the final player through to the Last 32 of the
UK Open with the draw set to take place shortly ahead of Day Two in Minehead.
Wright hit six 180's, two ton plus checkouts and 50% on the doubles to see off Joe Cullen 10-6 in one of the ties of the round due to their respective form and both being in the Premier League.
'Snakebite's performance on the oche was even better considering the current World Champion has gallstones and is in pain but there won't be the pain of going home early as he moved through comfortably.
He always kept Cullen at arms length with all legs going with throw in the early going before a break at 4-2 up saw Wright sail ahead.
A pivotal 11-darter kept Cullen in tie at 6-4 down and 'The Rockstar' continued to have flourishes despite going 8-4 down with an exhibition 125 checkout to keep his fortunes alive but that was mere consolations en route to a dominant display.
