Wright needs to ‘offer a little bit more’ in Premier League according to Webster: “He’ll meddle with his darts, flights, stems, trousers and hair”

Going into Week Four of Premier League Darts action, Peter Wright sits pointless and Mark Webster admitted he expected more from the two time World Champion.

But as ever he expects him to find a way to be in the playoffs come May and said he will tinker his way to success.

“He needs to offer a bit more to the Premier League in terms of results. He’ll be disappointed too, playoffs he’s been in it every year since 2014 so he knows he should be doing better,” he said on the Love the Darts podcast.

“But then again I don’t normally worry about Peter, when he has these little dips in form he usually finds his way back.

“He’ll meddle with his darts, flights, stems, trousers, points, hair but I think this year could be that year he gets to the playoff, whether he wins it or not but apply himself. Last year he was so unlucky, he only fell out on the final week so expecting a big campaign from Peter.”
