The WDF World Championship is set to take place at the historic Lakeside which will return in January following the demise of the BDO.
One player who is synonymous with Lakeside having won there three times before in 2007, 2010 and 2011 is Martin Adams.
Adams recently caught up with Tungsten Tales to discuss his thoughts on the return of the hallowed venue.
"I'm very excited to be going back there because for me, played 25 on the trot there and it's like home from home. The one thing I've always found with Lakeside is there's always familiar faces around the hotel. It's not like a Premier Inn, you there one year that lot of faces go there another time, it's a bit like home from home," he said to Tungsten Tales.
He also discussed his stint in the Online Live League as well as whether he will take to the stage and his aspirations on that side.
"The Online stuff we did back last Summer was quite good, it evolved, it developed. We started off with just one cameras, two cameras and so forth and now we've extended out to a studio. It keeps you playing, it's competitive which is the main thing."
"If I accumulate the necessary points and I've got a good position in the table then I'd love to play. If I don't, I don't."
