Vienna, Austria, is hosting the WDF Europe Cup Youth 2023 this week. Thursday the boys' singles tournament started. Participating countries were allowed to send their best youth players for this.

Two British hopes remain and are set to face off in the final four. Connor Hopkins of Wales defeated Cas Maessen in his quarter-final whilst Englishman, Thomas Banks was a 4-1 winner over Bradley van der Velden.
Pim van Bijnen was the only Dutchman to reach the semi-finals. The 17-year-old dart player beat Jenson Walker (4-3) and Adam Dee (4-1) in the knockout stage.
In the last four, he faces Yorick Hofkens. The German impressed by posting an average of over eighty in all his matches in the knockout phase. The other semifinal will be between Hopkins and Banks. These matches and the subsequent final, by the way, are not scheduled until Saturday.
