Martin Adams has been heavily involved during the success of the MODUS Live League including the first lot of the new in-person iteration.
Adams during his recent interview with Online Darts discussed that and how he hopes that it is a more permanent fix for darts when Coronavirus ends.
"I did the bit in the summer. Since August, all I've done is the WDF's Virtual Cup which was reasonably interesting but the set-up was so different. The set up evolved with MODUS as we went through. There's been a big break and now it's come round again," said Adams to Online Darts.
"I hope what we're doing now is successful and it keeps going because travelling tires you so it'd be nice to do this sort of thing on a more permanent basis. Don't get me wrong, I still want to do some of the tournaments. The Dutch Open for instance, the British Open but we will see what comes up."
At the age of 64, the questions will arise about his future in the sport but he believes he won't walk away until he physically cannot play anymore.
"No definitely not walking away. You may see me on television, I don't know yet it all depends on how things go. Through the Virtual Cup, I'm pleased to say I've got a spot in the World Masters. We're hoping that can take place."
