Tony O'Shea was down at the Target Sports Stars Fishing Championship and as well as discussing the World Masters, he took time to reflect after the sad passing of darting legend,
Andy Fordham.
O'Shea spoke of the great times he had with 'The Viking' over the years as England teammates in particular and was emotional speaking about the former World Champion.
"It was my first day down at the Online (Live League) and as soon as I heard the news I went and raised a glass to him, maybe that's why I played well. I was quite emotional really, same as Darryl (Fitton) I've shared a bed with him never mind a room when needs must especially with England I had some great times with Andy," said O'Shea to Online Darts.
"He had such a sense of humour, anyone who met him knows that anyway. Such a sad loss."
"I played with Andy in the pairs and we lost to Martin (Adams) and Mervyn (King) in the final of the World Cup. Great set of lads, till you spend a week together you don't really know a person but we had some great times. Good memories as well as being sad."
