The next iteration of the Remote Darts League which involves WDF players begins on Monday evening with an almost new lineup.
James Richardson claimed victory in the first edition which saw a group phase followed by the playoffs night.
Richardson will return; as will the three other players who made it to the playoffs in Paul Hogan, Tony O’Shea and
Jim Williams.
They will be joined by an international line-up of players including Dutch ace
Richard Veenstra, former World Matchplay champion
Larry Butler, who will be joined by fellow Americans, Joe Chaney and Stacey Pace.
Oceanic representation is also there in the case of Australia’s Justin Thompson and New Zealand’s Darren Herewini and Tina Osborne.
Frenchman Thibault Tricole who came to many people’s attention due to his performance at the last BDO World Championship is also involved.
As is a player who himself knows that tournament very well in Canadian ace David Cameron.
Finally we get two World Masters in the 2019 Men’s winner, John O’Shea and 2017 Ladies winner,
Lorraine Winstanley.
As well as another standout on the Ladies BDO/WDF tour in
Laura Turner with a stacked line-up of 16 players.
It begins on Monday 18 May with 22 days set with a one day break in the middle. This means it will run until Monday 8 June with a winner crowned.
