The halfway point of the Remote Darts League is reached tonight with Tony O'Shea and Joe Chaney among the players involved.
O'Shea was in the top four in the initial iteration of the
Remote Darts League; but after six games played he is down in eleventh place with two wins, one draw and three defeats; as he will hope to add to his tally to keep himself in contention.
Chaney on the otherhand is in contention with the American having won four and lost two and currently sits just outside the top for with eight points. The same can be said for
David Cameron who is behind on legs difference in seventh place; so it is a big evening for these two.
Tina Osborne rounds out the line-up with the New Zealand thrower currently second bottom but only by virtue of playing less games than Stacey Pace who is in 16th, can she claim a first win tonight?
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
