Scott Waites and Lisa Ashton were among the big names through to the final day of action at the BDO World Masters with victories in the evening session.
Ashton started the session by easing past Mayumi Ouchi 4-1 in the Quarter-Finals as she aims to retain her
World Masters title.
Waites had to do it the hard way coming from behind twice to defeat Paul Hogan in what was a high quality tie between the pair. Both players averaged in the mid 90's in what was Hogan's best performance on TV for a while despite defeat.
Among the other players through included former World Master, Lorraine Winstanley who averaged 86 in whitewashing Vicky Pruim in an impressive display. Can Lorraine once again claim one of the biggest prizes in BDO darts?
Ciaran Teehan also continued his form by seeing off Roemer Mooijman in another impressive display and he was joined by John O'Shea as one of two Irishman through as he dumped out Willem Mandigers. Michael Warburton is also through after seeing off Keith Geraghty in an five set thriller as the line-up is complete for SUnday.
