Scott Waites and Paul Hogan have reached the last sixteen at the BDO World Masters, as former Lakeside champion Scott Mitchell crashed out on Friday evening.
Hogan reached the last sixteen after surviving several match-darts against Joe Davis. Waites hit a 164 checkout en route to a straight sets victory over Nick Fullwell.
Mitchell was beaten by Michael Warburton as the latter averaged 96 to win 3-2 in sets. Mario Vandenbogaerde, Willem Mandigers and John O'Shea are also among the names going through to the next round at the Circus Tavern.
