Waites interrupts Mitchell interview with BDO World Championship prediction ahead of Quarter-Final clash: "I reckon whoever wins the next game will be another star on the shirt"

Mitchell spoke afterwards and said that he was 'lucky' against the German and that he had to find the extra percent that he needed to get over the line.

"When you're playing Unterbuchner, he's a big player. He's semi-finals last year, you don't get there if you can't play a game. You have to dig in and find the reserve of the last 25 years of playing in local leagues, super leagues and county. Today I found them, I was lucky," said Mitchell to BDO Darts.

During the interview, Waites was in the background throwing darts and came in and gave a bold prediction that he believes the winner comes from their tie.

"I reckon whoever wins the next game will be another star on the shirt," said Waites.

Mitchell gave praise to Waites and said that he has always wanted to play him in this event so is looking forward to it.

"He played great tonight, we've played each other many times. I've always wanted to play each other here so let's have a good game."
