Gary Anderson was drawn against either Paul Nicholson or Kevin Burness in the second round of the World Championship and has admitted that he is not looking past his first tie.

Despite that, Anderson said that it would be great to claim a third title but that anyone can win but that whoever does will have deserved to do so. "You ask anybody what they think is the worst game and they will say the first one," Anderson told . "Go around any of the lads in the top eight and they will all say the same thing. "Once you get past that one, then you can start to look forward and see how the tournament goes from that point. "But, of course, it would be great to get a third World title. "To be honest, I just about had a third only for Michael [van Gerwen] to do me at the end. "Last year it was Phil who beat me and I wasn’t too happy with the way that one turned out. "But the way the game is now, you just have to turn up and play.”
