The World Grand Prix final takes place tonight and the record for the best game ever was smashed by Michael van Gerwen and Dave Chisnall this past week.

One record still stands and has done for seventeen years and that is the highest average.
This was set by Alan Warriner-Little in October 2001 with him hitting 106.45.
This includes 60% on the starting double and 75% on checkouts from the original Iceman.
Leg averages wise it started off with 72.67 but rose massively to 125. The highest average in the match was 150.30 at one point.
Michael van Gerwen especially will have his eyes set on claiming that either tonight in the final or in a future edition of the tournament.
